Milblogs can be very informative and entertaining. Milbloggers tend to say exactly how they feel and that can come across a bit rough. But more interesting are the varied views of command that come from different sites. For example, Blackfive.net often had post praising and defending General Stanley McChrystal while Captains Journal was much more critical. Both sites have some very good input and I enjoy them both.
Lately I’ve been more inclined to agree with Captains Journal more often. While a more Marine focused site the postings are like a class in lessons learned or not learned. The latest posting is an interesting look at the results of Majah and Operation Moshtarak.
So there’s my plugs for the day.
