Gang members ok’d to enter US anytime

Border Patrol officials are swamped by the number of minors crossing illegally into the United States and frustrated that they can’t turn away known Mexican gang members.

Chris Cabrera, vice president of the National Border Patrol Council Local 3307 in the Rio Grande Valley, said that confirmed gang members in Mexico — including those from Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) — are coming into the country to be reunited with their families, National Reviewreported Friday.

“If he’s a confirmed gang member in his own country, why are we letting him in here? … I’ve heard people come in and say, ‘You’re going to let me go, just like you let my mother go, just like you let my sister go. You’re going to let me go as well, and the government’s going to take care of us,’” Mr. Cabrera told the magazine.

He said that the only way to solve the problem was to implement harsher restrictions on who can be allowed to cross.

“Until we start mandatory detentions, mandatory removals, I don’t think anything is going to change. As a matter of fact, I think it’s going to get worse,” he said, National Review reported.

Well it’s not like we didn’t see this coming.  We have unofficially opened our southern border to anyone.

BORDER PATROL AGENTS THREATENED WITH CRIMINAL CHARGES FOR SPEAKING TO REPORTERS

In Texas’ Rio Grande Valley, a seemingly endless surge of immigrants

The Rio Grande Valley has become ground zero for an unprecedented surge in families and unaccompanied children flooding across the Southwest border, creating what the Obama administration is calling a humanitarian crisis as border officials struggle to accommodate new detainees. Largely from Central America, they are now arriving at a rate of more than 35,000 a month.

Lois Lerners emails gone?

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Service says it has lost a trove of emails to and from a central figure in the agency’s tea party controversy.

The IRS told congressional investigators Friday it cannot locate many of Lois Lerner’s emails prior to 2011 because her computer crashed that year. Lerner headed the IRS division that processed applications for tax-exempt status.

Umm.  Really?  Are you kidding me or just lying to my face?  People these emails are surely stored on a server not her computer and are backed up in multiple places.  If not we need to fire every IT person working at the IRS.  NOW!

The Iraq implosion

imageISIS (Islamic State of Iraq / Syria) has mounted one heck of an offensive.  in just a few days they have taken control of some key cities in Iraq like Mosul and Takrit. It’s assumed that the ISIS will meet more resistance as it nears Baghdad.

In the mean time the Kurds have taken Kirkuk, a city they have claimed as theirs for a long time. I wonder if ISIS wants to mess with the Peshmerga?  I would like to see that. I don’t think it will be the same as facing the Iraqi Army.  The Peshmerga are the only ones I would openly support at this time.  Anyone who’s traveled into north can instantly tell there is something very different going on in Kurdish areas of Iraq.  It works there, unlike the rest of the country.

What does it all mean?  Iraq is still a country with deep sectarian hatred.  This probably won’t go away anytime soon.  Outsiders from Saudi Arabia and Iran don’t help matters either.  So, until we get a competent National Security Team in place I say let it play out.  If we’re lucky the Shia’s and Sunni’s will destroy each other and the Kurds will take over.

BIll and Hillary poor leaving white house huh?

Hillary Clinton was ‘dead broke’ leaving White House despite more than $780,000 in assets

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton claimed poverty drove her to the public speaking circuit and said after her husband’s White House stints, the family was “dead broke,” in debt up to their ears.

Right out of the White House, the Clintons bought a $1.6 million Dutch colonial mansion in Westchester for $1.7 million and a $2.85 another colonial mansion on Embassy Row in Washington.

Interestingly enough that home had been listed at $3.5 million, but the Clintons always have a way of getting a “good deal”.

It had five bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms. (The New York one only had four bathrooms.) Just the sort of thing working people pick up on the side so that Hillary would have a place in D.C. to write her memoirs. (Her other memoirs, which she also didn’t write.)

Poor ?  “you keep using that word, I don’t think it means what you think it means.”

Wait a minute.  I think I understand now.

Leave no man behind

The term “leave no man behind”, is sure thrown around a lot these days. It’s a good thing all these people who have never served a day in the military have taken on so many military concepts. If only they understood what the concepts and terms actually mean. No military member believes that you leave no man behind at all cost. The concept is that you will do all you can to bring your soldiers home short of giving up information or personnel that will hurt your overall national interests or security. In other words we will go to any length to hunt down their captors and rescue them while killing every one of those bastards. We’ll expand as much political pressure as we have available to get you released. We will risk our lives to bring you back. But we will not surrender to get you home. Sorry that’s not part of the deal.

So when you hear the civilian warriors tell you how committed to bringing our soldiers home remember, they have no idea what they are talking about. It’s just BS politics.
