First of all it is not necessarily a feel good story if you only state that the MOH recipient declined the offer to be with the President without declaring why he declined. You make it sound , at least the way I read your blog that it was feel good because he snubbed the POTUS. He wanted to be with his buddies instead because they had not seen each other in three years. That is the feel good part and any soldier would have done the same. I am sure Obama understood fully.

So, your assuming I meant the snub part was the feel good? Humm.. The feel good was that he didn’t allow himself to be used and spent the time with family and friends.
