His article discusses the perception of war by military men. It has many references from books that often get passed around the teams.

That was very well written. It spoke truths and dealt with the same discussions that I had had many nights, sitting around the barracks with my friends. It looks like there are still a lot of books out there that I will have to read.

Are you refering to SEAL Teams exclusively or general/all SF units?

SF units. Never been on a SEAL team but probably a lot of the same books. Well they probably read a lot more MAXIM.
